Artist Statement: This piece is from a series called the DNA Sequence. It is based on the sequences of letters that make up the human genome. It takes as its starting point the most fundamental code for us all, DNA, which is only now being decoded. This specific piece is inspired by visual representations of DNA and uses four colours on a black background to represent the four DNA elements.
