Artist Statement: This piece was created with inspiration from the Blue Mountains. I have always admired the beauty of the shapes the landscape and sky create while travelling up the hill and wanted to recreate the sensation of that geometry in stone media. The table frame is reclaimed ash hardwood over 150 yrs old and native to Ontario which I think beautifully reflects the bounty of natural resources our land has given to us.
